Services <br /> contract with the City of Tavares since January of 2007. <br /> In addition to other substantial capital projects completed by DMC for the City, this firm has <br /> recently completed the engineering design of a boat ramp. two concrete wing walls, and an <br /> accessory dock, and the permitting and bidding and construction-inspection for Summerall Park-- <br /> a community pocket park that has served many local residents for years and remains an integral <br /> part of the City's large park system. <br /> This particular project is funded through a Federal Community Development Block Grant <br /> (CDBG) and has required additional reporting and specific handling and direct interaction with <br /> grant managers. <br /> DMC has managed every minute detail of this project, including the laborious environmental <br /> • permitting, with the utmost of professionalism, tact, and expertise. Their competency levels can <br /> be viewed throughout every phase of this project and has garnered the commendations of the <br /> CDBG manager. <br /> With many local governmental leaders being tasked with burdensome workloads and reduced <br /> staffing, as the Community Services Director here.
