The project also included eight <br /> new bridges and a 12-foot wall to help reduce noise in the area. Controlling factors in this <br /> design were the close proximity of the Coral Gables Canal and the Tamiami Canal, and <br /> ® the limited available right-of-way for stormwater treatment and disposal.
