Utilizing the latest growth management <br /> ® techniques, this progressive plan sought to solicit the opinion of the citizens, activists, <br /> staff and elected officials as it dealt with the task of protecting the essential character of <br /> ® the community, while providing it with a transportation network in which it could grow in <br /> a sustainable manner. Numerous types of transportation were looked at including the <br /> expansion of the existing trolley. Each element was thoroughly vetted through the <br /> ® community, as well as local and state planning officials. Project Cost: 85K over 9 months <br /> 0 Coastal Communities Transportation Master Plan Miami Beach, Florida 2006/2007 <br /> ® Planner Consultant: The City of Miami Beach, in ajoint effort with its neighboring <br /> coastal communities in northeastern Miami-Dade County(City of Aventura, City of Sunny <br /> ® Isles Beach, Town of Bal Harbour Village, Town of Bay Harbor Islands. Town of <br /> ® Surfside, Town of Golden Beach and City of North Bay Village) is interested in the <br /> development of a transportation master plan that assesses the traffic and transportation <br /> ® issues on the barrier islands. The goal of this plan is to produce short, mid, and long term <br /> multi-modal solutions to transportation issues, on a sub-regional basis. Project Cost: <br /> ® $250,000. <br /> ® Palmetto Bay Bicycle and Pedestrian Master Plan Palmetto Bay Florida —2008/2009 <br /> Project Manager: Develop a new Bicycle and Pedestrian Master Plan to allow the use of <br /> ® alternatives modes while maintaining safety and strengthening the quality of life for the <br /> residents of the Village of Palmetto Bay. Utilizing the latest public involvement <br /> techniques. this progressive plan sought to solicit the opinion of the citizens, activists, <br /> ® staff and elected officials as it dealt with the task of protecting the essential character of <br /> the community, while providing it with a transportation network in which it could grow in <br /> ® a sustainable manner and allow for bicycle paths and more sidewalks. Each element was <br /> thoroughly vetted through the community, as well as local and state planning officials. <br /> ® Project Cost: 50K over 6 months. <br /> Miami-Dade County Safe Routes to School Miami-Dade County, FL- 2009/2010 <br /> `! GIS and Mapping Specialist - In this contract The Corradino Group provided a variety <br /> ® of transportation planning services, on <br /> time and within budget.
