(B&A) provided the design, <br /> • Miami Beach, Florida permitting and construction administration for the reconstruction <br /> • of 5 parking lots for the City of Miami Beach. Our Civil Engineering <br /> • Client: City of Miami Beach team provided designs that included geometric layout, paving/ <br /> • Completion: 2004 eroding. drainage/stormwater management including ex- <br /> • Cost: $500,000 filtration trenches, and deep injection wells. <br /> • The most challenging part of this project was the parking lot <br /> • layout which afforded very limited space. The Team was able <br /> • to maximize the number of parking stalls by coming up with <br /> • innovative design solutions that were still code compliant. Civil <br /> • Engineering managed all permitting activities for this project <br /> • through Local County and City government public works, water <br /> and sewer management and environmental authorities. B&A also <br /> • <br /> provided construction administration services and certified the <br /> • facilities at time of completion. <br /> • <br /> • 24 <br /> • <br />
