APPROACH & METHODOLOGY <br /> • <br /> • <br /> Construction Management and Construction Engineering & Inspection Services <br /> • The B&A Team's primary goal is to assist the City of Sunny Isles Beach in meeting their primary goal of <br /> • delivering a quality product to the residents of the City, completing the projects with no time and costs <br /> • overruns, and expedite the resolution process of issues that arise during the course of construction. <br /> • <br /> • The B&A Construction Management (CM) and Construction Engineering & Inspection (CEI) Team will <br /> • perform Contract Administration and On-site Inspection services. It will be the team's overall responsibility <br /> • to make sure that the project is in conformance with the issued construction plans,standard specifications, <br /> • supplemental specifications, technical special provisions and the executed Contract. <br /> • Contract Administration <br /> • The CEI Team's responsibility will be to adhere to all of the following: <br /> • <br /> • • Maintain adequate qualified and experienced personnel for inspecting the contractor's <br /> • operations; <br /> • • Work closely with the City's Public Information Office to keep the public informed; <br /> • • Video tape the pre-construction conditions of the project site; <br /> • <br /> • • Construction plans, standard specifications, supplemental specifications, and technical special <br /> • provisions interpretation; <br /> 41 • Maintain accurate records of all construction operations and documents pertaining to the project; <br /> • • Hold pre-construction, project progress, and pre-activities (earthwork, concrete, and asphalt) <br /> • meetings; <br /> • • Review and process extra work change orders; <br /> • • Review and reply to Requests for Information; <br /> • Review and respond to Notices of Intent to Claim; <br /> • • Process progress payments to the Contractor; 3 Review and approve contractor's baseline <br /> • construction work schedule and monthly updates; <br /> • • Review and process shop drawings; <br /> • • Prepare and submit to the CPM a monthly status report and <br /> • • Prepare and submit Final Estimates package with As-Builts set of plans. <br /> S <br /> S <br /> S <br /> S <br /> I <br /> S <br /> S <br /> • <br /> S <br /> S <br /> S <br /> S <br /> • <br /> • <br /> • aba CONTINUING PROFESSIONAL ARCHITECTURAL & ENGINEERING SERVICES FIRMS ONLY(CCNA) <br /> • RFQ No. 12-04-02 66 <br />
