Florida - Mr. Ajamil was Principal in Charge for a joint venture team serving MDX as their General Consultants. • EDUCATION Projects under planning and design stages included:SR 836 interchange,LeJeune Road interchange • Bachelor of Science in with Miami International Airport.Miami Intermodal Center(MIC).and SR 112,including the planning Civil Engineering, • University of Florida. 1972 and design of the SR 836 to Central Parkway interconnector;SR 836 westward extension to NW 137th ® Avenue, and interchange with Florida's Turnpike,with provision for toll plazas;SR 112 improvements and connections to Miami International Airport and Miami Intermodal Center. Also under planning • REGISTRATION stages were projects,which include provisions of Long Range Express Lanes or Value Pricing Lanes • Registered Engineer along SR 836 from Florida's Turnpike to the Miami Intermodal Center and the Miami International State of Florida, 1974 • Reg.No.0018420 Airport,this includes approximately 8 miles of expressway reconstruction,with four interchanges. • FDOT District VI,Miami, Florida-Principal-in-Charge for several FDOT assignments including: • PROFESSIONAL AFFILIATIONS • Kendall Drive widening PD&E and final design • Greater Miami Chamber • Florida Turnpike widening between Kendall and Sunset Drive • of Commerce • 1-95 expansion between SR 836 and SR 112 • HOV lanes from 1-95 to SR 112 and Metrorail • Leadership Florida American • Principal-in-Charge for the preliminary Port of Miami Tunnel PD&E Study • Association of Port Authorities • Florida-Caribbean Cruise Port of Miami Access Bridge, Miami, Florida - Project Manager responsible for the management • Association,Platinum Member of the new Port of Miami high-level bridge. As the Owner's representative, Mr. Ajamil directed all aspects of the planning, corridor selection. and project approvals. Mr. Ajamil prepared the 4(f) • statement.as well as obtained necessary Coast Guard and Florida D.E.P.permits for this project.The • project was undertaken by FDOT District VI. • Algeciras Multimodal Center. Spain - Responsible for the master plan for a multimodal center in • Southern Spain. to serve as the focal point for ferry travel between Europe and Africa. The center • accommodates more than 1 million passengers per month and provides for integrated rail, road • and ferry development.
