Consultant; Hydrologic Restoration of the Dinner Island Ranch, Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC)—Performed storm- water modeling using EPA SWMM 5.0 for existing and proposed conditions. Dinner Island Ranch Wildlife Management Area (WMA) is about 4.500 acres in the C-139 Basin. and currently used for 2.500-acre cattle ranching and 2.000-acre sugar cane field in Hendry County. Florida. The objective was to develop a hydrologic restoration plan including the plugging or filling of manmade ditches and to reestablish historic sheet flow within the project area. EPA SWMM 5.0 was developed to simulate the historic conditions. pre- and B post-development conditions. Services provided in this project included three- phase restoration plan for the WMA. permitting from SFWMD. and NPDES permits from FDEP. QProject Engineer; St. Johns County Drainage Master Plan, St. Johns County, FL—Performed stormwater modeling. This project included the de- velopment of a countywide drainage study and a GIS/database inventory of its I stormwater drainage systems to provide a working document for the County that incorporates existing physical. hydrologic, and hydraulic data, as well as information from previous studies. Emphasis upon evaluation of previous studies recommendations and update of estimated costs was included to priori- tize future projects to be implemented. The study was organized on a water- shed basis and included detailed examination of all areas with known flooding problems and provided maintenance recommendations, capital improvement project recommendations, and additional study format requirements related to GIS interface with other County agencies.
