Performed ERP/CIP
documents and roadway plans review and incorporation. model parameteriza-
tion. 100-year floodplain delineation. and GIS/database development. Project
involved watershed management plan for a 4,935-acre watershed in north
Hillsborough County. Florida. This project was conducted in accordance with
the SWFWMD's G&S.
Project Engineer; Stormwater Management Master Plan, Putnam Coun-
ty, FL—Responsible for developing a county-wide stormwater management
master plan that include the development of information and reports: a data-
base and information management system to be integrated with the County's
GIS and other systems: identification of system components. location, and
condition: identification of maintenance, repair. and upgrade requirements to
allow the systems to function as needed: and identification of requirements
and procedures to mitigate future damages through stormwater management.
floodplain management. and water quality.
Consultant; City of Bonita Springs Stormwater Management Master
Plan, SFWMD—Performed stormwater modeling using ICPR for existing
and proposed conditions, performed alternatives analysis to alleviate local
flooding, selection of best alternatives with cost. schedule and funding options.
Tasks included drainage inventory. ERP permits review and incorporation,
flood complaints review. subbasin delineation. GIS database development. ex-
isting condition modeling and calibration/verification, design storms model-
ing. historical flooding areas identification, development and selection of al-
ternatives to alleviate flooding, selection of alternative plans for each flooding
areas.conceptual design with project costs. funding sources identification.
Consultant; Hydrologic Restoration of the Dinner Island Ranch, Florida
Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC)—Performed storm-
water modeling using EPA SWMM 5.0 for existing and proposed conditions.
Dinner Island Ranch Wildlife Management Area (WMA) is about 4.500 acres
in the C-139 Basin. and currently used for 2.500-acre cattle ranching and
2.000-acre sugar cane field in Hendry County. Florida. The objective was to
develop a hydrologic restoration plan including the plugging or filling of
manmade ditches and to reestablish historic sheet flow within the project area.
EPA SWMM 5.0 was developed to simulate the historic conditions. pre- and
B post-development conditions. Services provided in this project included three-
phase restoration plan for the WMA. permitting from SFWMD. and NPDES
permits from FDEP.
QProject Engineer; St. Johns County Drainage Master Plan, St. Johns
County, FL—Performed stormwater modeling. This project included the de-
velopment of a countywide drainage study and a GIS/database inventory of its
I stormwater drainage systems to provide a working document for the County
that incorporates existing physical. hydrologic, and hydraulic data, as well as
information from previous studies. Emphasis upon evaluation of previous
studies recommendations and update of estimated costs was included to priori-
tize future projects to be implemented. The study was organized on a water-
shed basis and included detailed examination of all areas with known flooding
problems and provided maintenance recommendations, capital improvement
project recommendations, and additional study format requirements related to
GIS interface with other County agencies. This approach was developed to al-
low the County to use the document in an on-going fashion that could be re-
vised and updated as future work was initiated and completed.
pCV Envionmeraal F
Core&Tochnokgy,Inc.
