He provides a unique input in the development of projects with a mix academic and professional experience in transportation and water resources, has actively been involved in the geometric design of major and minor highways following local and federal standards, and has extensive experience in implementing hydrodynamic models for management and designing storm water systems. SW 62nd Avenue from SW 74th Street to SW 60th Street, Miami-Dade County, Florida, Miami- Dade Public Works Department-Mr. Bieler was Design Engineer responsible for development of the lighting design and maintenance of traffic plans. This project entailed the reconstruction of approximately 0.5 mile of an urban arterial from an existing four-lane roadway to a two-lane roadway with a shared median and parallel parking on the east side of the corridor. US-1 (SR 5) Design-Build Project, Miami-Dade County, FDOT/ Community Asphalt Corporation - Mr. Bieler was Project Engineer assisting in the design and plans preparation of the bell south duct banks. The project involved reconstructing US-1 from an undivided 2-lane rural road to a divided 2 lane rural road primarily with the purpose of introducing a buffer separation between northbound and southbound traffic. Miramar Toll Plaza - SR 821 H.E.F.T. Toll Plaza Improvements (from University Drive to Turnpike Mainline)/ EAC Consulting, INC -Improvements included milling/resurfacing and widening the o east and westbound mainline of the existing structure and reconstruction of exit ramp. Primary responsibilities include Project Designer for the development of the construction drawings, pavement design, signing and pavement marking package, typical section package and drainage package. SR826 (Palmetto Expressway) Improvement Programs, Section 2 FDOT District 6 - Mr. Bieler was Project Engineer in the design of the roadway drainage system, develop hydraulic modeling and prepare environmental permitting renewals and applications. Additionally, assist in the design and plans preparation of the storm water pollution prevention plan. The proposed improvements include the addition of one general use lane in each direction; auxiliary lanes between all interchanges; interchange improvements and, operational and safety improvements along the SR-826 mainline and ramps.
