The Plan addressed <br /> Bachelor of Technology in physical and socio-economic issues as they pertain to individual neighborhoods, commercial <br /> Urban Systems, Florida and business districts and the City as a whole. Market conditions, demographic, employment, <br /> International University, public facility and other evaluation criteria were analyzed. The Plan in large part will be <br /> 1976 implemented through the City's Capital Improvements Program and act as a blue print for <br /> the fUTURE OF THE CITY. <br /> B.A., Geography, University <br /> of South Florida, 1973 CITY AVENTURA, MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, FL: When the City of Aventura was <br /> formed in Miami-Dade County, Keith and Schnars acted as City Planners while the city <br /> A.A., Pre-Architecture, formulated its initial structure. Mr. Kahn was responsible for reviews of planning activities <br /> Miami Dade Community which included; site plan and plat reviews, land use and zoning evaluations and coordinated a <br /> College, 1971 complete GIS mapping of the city, which included zoning and land use maps. <br /> PROFESSIONAL ATLANTIC BOULEVARD OVERLAY DISTRICT, POMPANO BEACH, FL: Project <br /> CERTIFICATIONS planner for creation of an overlay district on Atlantic Boulevard, from west of US-I to <br /> Certified Member of the the Beach, to provide guidelines for the redevelopment of the corridor. Project included <br /> American Institute of creation of design standards, development regulations, and public involvement. <br /> Certified Planners, <br /> AICP#005537 POMPANO BEACH COMMUNITY REDEVELOPMENT PLAN AND LAC PLAN <br /> AMENDMENT, POMPANO BEACH, FL: The redevelopment Plan focused on urban <br /> revitalization strategies that allowed the City to fully utilize the existing man-made resources <br /> while preserving and enhancing the existing natural resources, including a beach park <br /> promenade, an esplanade along Atlantic Boulevard, mixed-use, infill/redevelopment, new <br /> residential development, public open space park, and new civic buildings. <br /> COMPREHENSIVE PLAN UPDATE, EVALUATION AND APPRAISAL REPORT <br /> (EAR), AND LDR RE-WRITE FOR MONROE COUNTY: Monroe County has <br /> contracted with Keith and Schnars to update their Comprehensive Plan Policy and Technical u; <br /> Documents to the 2010-2030 planning timeframe; the last update occurred in 1995. <br /> Additionally Keith and Schnars will prepare the EAR for the County. The final phase of this <br /> project is to realign the LDR sections to make it more user friendly, incorporate modern <br /> planning strategies, and implement the Goals, Objectives and Policies of the Comprehensive <br /> Plan. <br /> MIRAMAR TOWN CENTER, MIRAMAR, FL: Served as Project Manager for this <br /> 50-acre mixed use project that was developed with the City of Miramar.
