<br /> EL RIO MULTI—USE TRAIL

<br /> Keith and Schnars designed a green area in the middle of the urban fabric that integrates the user with natural features. i°3°
<br /> This 1.5 mile segment of the El Rio multi-use trail includes pedestrian bridges,seating areas,and fishing piers. It connects
<br /> Florida Atlantic University's eastern entrance at NW 20th Street to the Tri-Rail Station atYamato Road. The trail meanders
<br /> through natural preserve areas and residential communities and passes under 1-95,all adjacent to the El Rio Canal. We
<br /> provided plans for the pathway,paving and drainage,structures,site amenities,and planting and irrigation.
<br /> Keith and Schnars prepared structural design plans and specifications for a 95-foot pre-manufactured steel truss pedestrian
<br /> bridge over the El Rio Canal in addition to a I 6'x16' fishing pier for recreational use. The pedestrian bridge was required
<br /> to meet requirements for the Multi-use trail as dictated by FDOT and AASHTO.
