The LAP project required coordination with FDOT, the exemption of a planned <br /> project, between 12th Avenue and Sunrise Boulevard, and preparation of the roadway improvements <br /> along SR-7/US-441 for a Vehicular Access Connection (VAC) of the park's main driveway. <br /> City of Port St. Lucie <br /> ' Patricia Roebling, P.E., Assistant City Engineer <br /> 121 SW Port St. Lucie Boulevard <br /> Port St. Lucie, FL 34984 <br /> (772) 871-5174 <br /> Citywide Sidewalk Program <br /> ' The City of Port St. Lucie is LAP certified with FDOT. The City was able, due to their LAP certification, <br /> to enter into a JPA with FDOT and to secure several hundred thousand dollars to design/permit and <br /> construct sidewalks within the City. The City selected two (2) of their longest corridors and one other <br /> ' corridor, based upon the need and safety (within school Zones). These corridors included <br /> Westmoreland Boulevard, Morningside Boulevard, and Floresta Drive, which totaled over eight (8) <br /> miles of sidewalk construction. Drawer 2217 <br /> ' Fort Myers, FL 33902-2217 <br /> (239) 321-7459 <br /> SR-80/First Street Access Management <br /> ' The City of Fort Myers, partnered with the FDOT and the Lee County Department of Transportation <br /> for the Streetscape/Access Management for SR-80/Palm Beach Boulevard project. The existing corridor <br /> is a multi-lane, undivided roadway with major cross-street intersections and heavy commercial <br /> driveway access points. The project required extensive public involvement with the businesses, <br /> residents and agencies to realize the benefits of access management, and thedevelopmentof a <br /> controlled access landscape median plan.
