LAUDERHILL, FL <br /> I Project Manager: Responsible as the EOR. for the development of the design/construction documents. for a LAP, between the City <br /> and the FDOT, for a Vehicular Access Connection (VAC) Permit. for this high profile project for the City, and jointly with the <br /> Division of Broward County Parks & Recreation, for the approximate 110-acre, Central County Regional Park. which opened in <br /> I November. 2008. Other duties included providing for and coordinating the design, plans and field adjustments, with FDOT and <br /> Broward County. for a temporary access, prior to the official opening of the Park, due to the City participating in a national <br /> competition for the park, as the headquarters for the National Cricket Organization/team: Also responsible for coordination with <br /> FDOT, the exemption of a planned RRR project. between 12th Avenue and Sunrise Boulevard. and preparation of the roadway <br /> I improvements. including: horizontal alignment improvements; addition of left-turn storage lanes: drainage design and storm water <br /> permitting through the Broward County DERM; sidewalk and American with Disabilities Act (ADA) improvements; traffic <br /> signalization upgrades at 12th Avenue. and providing interconnection conduit/cable between Sunrise Boulevard and 12th Avenue: <br /> 1 roadway lighting and coordinating the.omamental fixtures required by the City: quantities and construction cost estimates; and CEI <br /> during construction. <br /> NEIGHBORHOOD GATEWAY ENTRY FEATURES,CITY OFLAUDERHILUCRA. LAUDERHILL, FL <br /> 1 Project Manager: Responsible, as the EOR. for the development of the design/construction documents. for a local Grant Program, <br /> secured by the City and its CRA, through the Community Development Block Grant Program. for the installation of multiple <br /> neighborhood gateway entry features along the SR-7/US-44I corridor. Mr. Maze prepared the design and construction plans for seven <br /> I (7) corridor locations with their intersections of SR-7/US-44I identified by the City/CRA for the gateway features, which included <br /> widening within the right-of-way; a centerline median for multiple purposes of supporting landscape. separation for the ingress and <br /> egress of the neighborhood traffic, and for the gateway entry sign: addition of turning lanes (either multiple left-turn lanes, or right- <br /> turn lanes); pavement marking and signing upgrades; traffic signalization upgrades and coordination with Broward County Traffic <br /> I Engineering Division: extensive coordination with FDOT, as their contractor was working along SR-7/US-441 on a resurfacing and <br /> streetscape enhancement project; and also provided CEI services during construction. <br /> DEAN PARK HISTORICAL NEIGHBORHOOD TRAFFIC CALMING,CITY OF FORT MLYERS.FORT MYERS.FL <br /> 1 <br /> Project Manager: Responsible for overseeing and directing the team of professionals on the development of the design/construction <br /> documents for this riverfront neighborhood traffic calming project. Based upon the City-wide Comprehensive Traffic Calming Plan. <br /> as prepared by McMahon, the Historic Dean Park neighborhood was approved by the City Council to implement the recommended <br /> I traffic calming features, and to also incorporate the neighborhood-wide drainage/storm water improvements. for which the City <br /> secured a special federal grant from the Flood Emergency Management Agency (FEMA). The plan. formalized in 2008 and <br /> completed in 2010. included several intersection choker designs to further enhance and create the historic neighborhood identity; the <br /> closing of a portion of Cranford Avenue, to form a triangular park in the central part of the neighborhood, and several four-way stop <br /> intersections to be constructed as raised intersections. <br /> CR-5l0/SR-510 AT SR-5/US-1,LYDJAN RIVER COUNTY.INDIAN RIVER COUNTY. FL <br /> I Senior Project Manager: Responsible as the EOR for overseeing and directing the staff in the development of the design/construction <br /> documents for this approximate S20 million corridor widening project from two lanes undivided. to four lanes divided, with a <br /> centerline median. including major intersection improvements. Based upon the partially completed FDOT. Project Development and <br /> Environmental Study, which the County purchased from FDOT, the project included total reconstruction of the SR-510 at US-I <br /> I intersection to provide for dual left-turn lanes, two(2)thru lanes. and exclusive right-turn lanes on all four(4) legs of the intersection <br /> (totaling approximately two [2) miles of reconstruction). Other responsibilities included design/construction plans for extensive <br /> horizontal and vertical (approximately seven(7) feet of positive vertical change at the intersection with US-I)geometric changes, and <br /> I significant drainage design and permitting activities. coordination with an FEC Railroad crossing, as well as traffic control plan <br /> preparation,signalization, lighting and landscaping. and water utility construction. <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I (``iMCMAHON CITY OF SUNNY ISLES BEACH <br />
