Mr. Davis has a notable background in water resources, environmental policy, legislation and governmental relations, including NEPA. He has served in a senior capacity in the Army ii y 4.--W „4. I Corps of Engineers, the White House Council on Environmental Quality, the Environmental ® I^ • I Protection Agency and the United States Department of the Interior. Mr. Davis served for ® -- - " five years as the Deputy Assistant Secretary of the Army. In this role, he was responsible for ® ACADEMIC policy and legislation for the Army Corps of Engineers' civil works program. This included BACKGROUND the development and authorization of the Comprehensive Everglades Restoration Plan and ® M.S.,Biology,Austin Peay three Water Resources Development Acts. In addition, Mr. Davis served as the Chair of ® State University, 1981 the White House Wetlands Working Group and was instrumental in the development of national wetlands policy and regulations. He also served as DOT's Director of Everglades ® B.S.,Biology and Restoration where he was responsible for the development and coordination of policy; and ® Environmental Science, legislative and budget proposals related to the restoration of the South Florida Ecosystem.
