A • John Krane, P.E. has over 23 years of experience in transportation planning and traffic engineering,access management, traffic operations, and safety. His primary areas of expertise include site impact analyses, intersection and roadway • operational and level of service analyses,development and application of transportation demand forecasting models,project • traffic development, and project management. He currently serves as the Director of Transportation Planning activities statewide and is our designated Quality Assurance/Quality Control officer. ® Prior to joining K&S,Mr.Krane worked over 14 years with FDOT District 4 where one of the roles he fulfilled during that tenure was theAssistant DistrictTraffic Operations Engineer. In that capacity he was responsible for Safety Management, • Congestion Management,and Access Management. He oversaw the development and implementation of low-cost • traffic operations solutions that remedied safety hazards, as well as conceptual improvements to the roadway system in response to operational and safety problems.Mr.Krane also was responsible for the review and regulation of signal spacing, ® median opening spacing,and driveway spacing in accordance with the State's laws and rules. • The key individuals identified in this submittal represent only the surface of the professional capabilities that K&S can offer • the City of Sunny Isles Beach.
