RESUME <br /> Sell/ <br /> located on Vista Parkway. Design includes 24-Hour HVAC Systems for Computer <br /> Rooms, utility provisions for a Kitchen and Cafeteria, designed by the Kitchen <br /> Consultant. Mr. Avedano was a member of the Mechanical Engineering team for <br /> this project. Construction Cost: $30,000,000. <br /> Miramar Regional Park, Phase II—Aquatic Center <br /> Miramar, Florida <br /> JALRW provided the HVAC, Plumbing and Electrical Engineering for the buildings <br /> in Phase II of this new 173-acre park. Phase II contained two baseball/softball <br /> fields and the Aquatic Complex with an interactive water playground and beach <br /> area. The water playground resembles Castaway Island currently located at TY <br /> Park and the pool offers swimming lanes and a dive well. These athletic fields <br /> are used to host regional baseball/softball tournaments along with adult and <br /> youth leagues. Victor was the Mechanical Engineer for this project. <br /> Robert King High Park Community Center and Soccer Field <br /> Miami, Florida <br /> JALRW provided the Mechanical and Electrical Engineering and the Lighting <br /> Design for this new 6,500 square foot Community Center building including <br /> covered basketball court, new tennis court,lighting, parking, playground& picnic <br /> area. This project is currently under construction for an estimated cost of$1.2 <br /> M. A second phase of this project consists of an illuminated soccer filed with <br /> adjoining restrooms. Phase II of this project has not been constructed. Victor is <br /> the Mechanical Engineer for this project. <br /> South Regional/Broward College Library <br /> Pembroke Pines, Florida <br /> JALRW provided'HVAC and Electrical Engineering Design Services for this new ' <br /> 70,000 square foot regional library project on Broward Community College's <br /> south campus. The library is provided with daylight controls and energy efficient <br /> dimmable lighting, CO2 sensors, demand control ventilation, dedicated outside <br /> air units with pre-treated outside air and heat pipe energy recovery. It is the first <br /> LEED certified project for Broward County and has achieved a Silver rating from <br /> the U.S. Green Building Council. Mr. Avedano was a member of the Mechanical <br /> Engineering team for this project. Construction Cost:$11,000,000 <br /> University of Miami Basketball Practice Facility(Field House) <br /> Coral Gables, Florida <br /> JALRW provided the HVAC, Plumbing, Fire Protection and Electrical Engineering <br /> for the University of Miami Field House. This 32,000 SF facility serves as a fully <br /> dedicated practice facility for the men's and women's basketball programs. <br /> The design team incorporated many aspects of Sustainable Design Practices that <br /> support a high performance building allowing the multipurpose facility at the <br /> Coral Gables campus to achieve LEED Gold Certification from the U.S. Green <br /> Building Council.
