Mr. Wilkin has provided professional design services <br /> to the Fort Lauderdale Community Redevelopment for the adaptive reuse and <br /> renovation of the Eula Johnson House on Sistrunk Boulevard, which is being converted <br /> from the former residence of a prominent Fort Lauderdale civil rights activist to the new <br /> offices of the Fort Lauderdale NAACP. These comprehensive services include working <br /> with City staff and the NAACP to develop a design program, conceptual design, <br /> Development Review Committee submittals and approvals, permit documents, bidding <br /> and construction administration. The project is on budget and on schedule. Don and <br /> his staff are also working for us on a second project to convert another residence on <br /> Sistrunk Boulevard on a small and challenged site to office use. We are very pleased <br /> with the work they are providing and find the quality of their work and their services to <br /> be exceptional. <br /> Throughout the time we have worked with Mr. Wilkin and his staff at ACAI, they have <br /> been there to answer any questions, provide professional advice and make the time to <br /> meet on short notice. Their work product is always extremely detailed, concise, and <br /> presented in a fashion that was readily understandable.
