He has also led numerous institutions and public entities in <br /> Certifications transportation-related and culturally significant projects. Mr. Levis served as design <br /> I Culinary Institute, American principal for a new cruise ship terminal in Dubai which will be the premier facility in the Middle <br /> School and University East. The terminal is flexible enough to handle home-port and port-of-call vessels at the same <br /> magazine time, with their unique processing protocols. The 220,000-square-foot facility was designed <br /> I University of Miami— to LEED Gold certification standards, and reflects the modern aesthetic trends of Dubai while <br /> graduated Magna Cum Laude subtly recalling traditional forms and patterns. <br /> University of Miami School of Grand Turk Welcome Center, Turks and Caicos Islands. Mr. Levis served as principal-in- <br /> I <br /> Architecture valedictorian charge overseeing all aspects of the $3.2M project. He actively led the concept and design <br /> effort as well as presented the project to the government planning department. The design <br /> American Public Works captures the spirit of the island and its history, and seeks to re-invigorate its historic center. The <br /> Association 2007 Project team designed a fully operational water storage cistern and coordinated the re-routing of an <br /> .1 of the Year—Structures existing overhead power service line to underground. <br /> $1Om-$100m: Half Moone Miami Dade College (MDC) Miami Culinary Institute, Wolfson Campus Building, <br /> Center, Norfolk, Virginia Miami, FL. Mr. Levis was the project principal for the architectural and engineering design <br /> Dade Heritage Trust Award services for an eight-story culinary arts building with a wine-tasting center and mechanical <br /> I —Old City Hall, Miami Beach, equipment roof level, situated on a demolished one-story, 4,100-square-foot building site. <br /> Florida The work involved design of the mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems and conveyor <br /> systems; planning of circulation spaces; hardscape and landscape design; engineering <br /> coordination with adjacent overhead Metromover track, Metromover right-of-way, and existing <br /> I Miami Dade College chiller lines; design and coordination of new and existing support utilities, <br /> new structural components with existing adjacent structures, maintenance of traffic, and <br /> construction staging; design of signage and graphics; and full construction administration <br /> services. <br /> Puerto Maya Pier Duty Free Building, Cozumel, Mexico. Mr. Levis was project manager <br /> for this project, which involved designing a state-of-the-art over-water duty-free store on an <br /> I existing pier. The building serves as a new entranceway, funneling visitors to the retail village <br /> adjacent to the pier. <br /> Snyder Park Tennis Center, North Miami Beach, FL. Mr. Levis provided master planning <br /> I services, architectural design services, landscape architecture, civil engineering, and ecological <br /> services for the development of a new 7,500 sf tennis center and café.
