Atkins' staff has extensive permitting experience <br /> with numerous municipal projects throughout the state <br /> including land management, transportation, stormwater <br /> management, and utility improvements. Our team is <br /> intimately familiar with federal, state, and local permitting <br /> regulations and requirements for the various agencies that <br /> may have jurisdiction over the assignments issued under <br /> this services contract. We have strong relationships and a <br /> successful permitting track record with many such agencies <br /> including FDEP, Miami-Dade County, Florida Department of <br /> Transportation(FDOT), South Florida Water Management <br /> District (SFWMD), and USACE. <br /> Our team's experience is unmatched in handling the <br /> community participation and public involvement portion of <br /> projects from the early stages of planning through design <br /> and construction. Atkins offers full-service support inhouse <br /> to generate and reproduce all types of graphics, exhibits, <br /> presentations, newsletters, video-simulation, modeling, <br /> before-and-after photos,website creation and maintenance, <br /> news releases, advertisements, and press kits. Our technical <br /> management and construction professionals are well-versed <br /> in responding to questions from community members <br /> and making sure that the entire community is involved in <br /> 1 developing the potential range of solutions to be studied for <br /> the duration of the project. We can successfully handle these <br /> efforts to the degree desired by the City of Sunny Isles Beach. <br /> Scheduling methodology <br /> Atkins understands the importance of maintaining the project <br /> schedule on all assignments that may be given through <br /> this contract. Our firm's successful history is integrally tied <br /> to meeting schedules. Our staff will work with the project <br /> controls group to assist in developing a cost estimate as well <br /> as project schedule for the design and implementation of <br /> all assignments.
