BATISTA <br /> 6, &ASSOCIATES <br /> 0 <br /> TECHNICAL APPROACH TO PROJECT PHASE, SCHEDULE, COST ESTIMATE. <br /> COST AND QUALITY CONTROL <br /> The firm is committed to meet any reasonable schedule for the delivery of the project determined by <br /> the City. The staff of DYI has a dedicated attitude to do whatever it takes to exceed its clients' <br /> expectations regards to its schedule while maintaining a high quality of professional standard for its <br /> work. Milestone dates will be set at the beginning of the project to not only allow the progress of the <br /> project to be monitored, but also to ensure the predetermined schedule of the project is realized. <br /> COST CONTROL <br /> Upon establishing an understanding of a Scope of Work for the project, the team will assist the City <br /> of Sunny Isles Beach in providing a reasonable budget if one has not been determined. During the <br /> design process. the Architect will provide design options that are consistent with the project goal and <br /> advise of design decisions that may have an impact on time or budget. The design team will conduct <br /> value engineering exercises at predetermined milestones during Design and Development Phases of <br /> the projects. The Architect will work with bidders and contractors in considering acceptable alternates <br /> and substitutions that would not adversely effect the quality of design as determined by the City. <br /> QUALITY CONTROL <br /> The team has a proven track record of delivering high quality products including designs and <br /> documents on time and within budget due to a number of reasons: <br /> 1. A very selective hiring standard and recruitment process. All technical staff must have a <br /> minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Architecture from an accredited university. <br /> 2. A high average length of employment of employees within the firm. <br /> 3. A high ratio of registered architects within the firm. <br /> 4. Hands on approach and involvement of the principals. All designs and drawings are reviewed <br /> by a principal prior to issuance. <br /> 5. The same project team members are assigned from start to finish of the project. <br /> 6. Knowledge of local construction systems and methodology. <br /> 7. An established internal quality control process at predetermined milestones within each phase <br /> of the project. <br /> 8.
