<br /> ( drawings and submittals for their compliance with the contract documents. Mr.
<br /> ® ��— +ir� -_ Kloes ensures the design professional will use a stamp containing a signature block
<br /> which he or she will sign, or at a minimum initial. The stamp and a signed
<br /> ® transmittal noting approval is adequate evidence that the submission conforms to
<br /> • / the overall project design and can be integrated into such design.
<br /> S '; During the construction administration phase of a project Mr. Kloes ensures many
<br /> ® submittals, samples, catalogue cuts, etc. will not require the fabricator's
<br /> certification. These will generally be for "off the shelf" items that represent
<br /> ® YEARS EXPERIENCE: COstandardized products or systems. In these instances, the design professional
<br /> ���� E E should be able to rely on the manufacturer's certification that the submittal meets
<br /> S EDUCATION the design criteria, standardized tests, and/or association standards. The design
<br /> S Certified Plumbing/PraMIN professional must still "review and approve" these submittals, but the signature and
<br /> certification by the manufacturer's designer is not required. The manufacturer

<br /> • Vaitli3 Renovations and Energy Efficient Upgrades, Bunnell, FL — Mr. Kloes is the
<br /> S Construction Manager on the renovations to accommodate the needs of the
<br /> sheriffs operations. Renovations include the following: Add fire sprinkler system,
<br /> S replacement of the main fire alarm panel, repair exterior windows, confirm fire rated
<br /> ® separation between Historic Courthouse and Annex, replace NC ductwork, VAV
<br /> units and controls, provide a ducted return system, test and balance the new
<br /> S system, replace all lighting with energy efficient fixtures and lighting controls,
<br /> replace electrical power distribution system, new communications data and
<br /> S technologies equipment, renovate all restrooms to ADA standards, replace all
<br /> S suspended acoustical ceilings and grid with new efficient acoustic values, replace
<br /> all water heaters with energy efficient units.
<br /> • 2010, City of Orlando Events Center Parking Garage, Orlando, FL — Mr. Kloes
<br /> S was the Construction Manager for this $34 million parking structure which serves
<br /> the needs of the Orlando Events Center. Nestor provided systems designs for the
<br /> S garage's CCTV high resolution video camera surveillance system on all levels at
<br /> S strategic points of access. The design also included access control through the use
<br /> of proximity card scanners at selected door locations. Fire alarm, area of rescue,
<br /> S emergency phone system, ticket dispensers, toll gates, and communication
<br /> ® systems were also include as part of the systems design. The systems design
<br /> incorporated local and remote monitoring of all systems.
<br /> S 2010, Orange County Convention Center, Orlando, FL — Mr. Kloes was the
<br /> S Construction Manager for the new Variable Frequency Drives and Controls for all
<br /> existing air handling units, fan, blowers and secondary chilled water pumps. SGM
<br /> S was the Engineer of the record and responsible for a solid commissioning plan for
<br /> ® this 4,200,000 sq. ft. facility, the second largest convention center in the nation. The
<br /> new plan was an alteration to existing facilities HVAC system. As part of this
<br /> ® SGMA A project, SGM is currently upgrading and replacing the existing multi manufacturer
<br /> J 1�/ l HVAC building automation systems (BAS) to the most current hardware and
<br /> • c software usingone manufacturer'sproduct. This BAS will be integrated through an

<br /> S MEP CONSULTING ENGINEERS enterprise level portal with remote accessibility. The goal is to integrate the campus
<br /> wide buildings into one BAS web based access point.SGM is responsible for design
<br /> S of new controls, energy management system in compliance with codes,
<br /> development of specifications, sequence of controls, design and general
<br /> S construction scheduling, cost estimating, and construction management.
