(B&A) designed this 10,000-sq. <br /> • West Palm Beach, Florida ft. multiuse community center that includes a variety of public <br /> • use spaces for meetings, large banquet / events and classes. <br /> • Client:City of West Palm Beach Located directly west of the existing Gaines Park Recreation <br /> • Parks & Recreation Department Center, this new facility is organized by a central double-height <br /> • Cost: $3 Million barrel vaulted space that provides primary circulation throughout <br /> Completed: 2010 the building. The (2) primary function spaces are accessible from <br /> • this main "spine":to the north, the 4.500 square foot multi-purpose <br /> • room and to the south, the 800 square foot classroom. Both <br /> • spaces include a central movable wall that allows each space <br /> • to be divided into two. <br /> • The exterior design and colors complement the existing buildings <br /> • while providing a new and exciting Architectural style for the <br /> • Community Center. This new facility also includes a large Porte- <br /> • cochere /entryway Canopy for drop-off and pick-up services for <br /> large events.
