(B&A)was retained by Miami-Dade <br /> • Courthouse and Parking Garage County to provide the architectural and landscape architectural <br /> • Miami, Florida design of additions to the Caleb Center Courthouse and the <br /> • design of its new Parking Garage facility. Over time,the Center has <br /> become increasingly crowded and the judicial space allocation <br /> • Client: Miami-Dade County within the larger facility increasingly insufficient and inadequate. <br /> • Certification Pursued: LEED NC-Silver <br /> • The new judicial building is intended to provide office space for <br /> N e U resident judges, visiting judicial officers, court administration staff <br /> • x� and programs, and public service and operational spaces for <br /> • v O an expanded Clerk of Courts operation. B&A will provide the <br /> • v, z programming and schematic design of the 39,000 SOFT addition, <br /> • 7 0 including construction documentation and administration. The <br /> same services will apply for the new parking facility which will <br /> • CaUNax contain 475 parking spaces and approximately 190,000 SQFT of <br /> • constructed area to accommodate parking booths,control gates <br /> • and approximately 20 private spaces on the ground floor area. <br /> • Currently,B&A hos registered this project with the U.S.Green Building <br /> • Council and is awaiting completion of the project to complete the <br /> • LEED "Silver" certification process. 23 <br />
