<br /> • the county's most utilized metrorail station to comply with the then newly enforced ADA/handicap
<br /> code requirements. Renovations included the introduction of a new elevator hoistway and cab
<br /> • within the station to bridge the ground floor and platform levels. In addition, improvements to
<br /> • alleviate commuter pedestrian traffic within the station were incorporated. These improvements
<br /> • included the introduction of a new stairway connecting the existing adjacent parking garage with
<br /> the station and additional passenger information and token purchasing booths.
<br /> • Douglas Road Metrorail Station,Miami, Florida'-Job Captain.Alterations to existing bus depot boys
<br /> • to allow for additional bus stationing and a greater number of bus arrivals and departures within the
<br /> ® existing constraints of the station. Additionally,the station's platform overhang was enlarged to provide
<br /> added protection to passengers on the ground floor from the elements and covered walkways were
<br /> S furnished for sheltered pedestrian access between commuter parking areas and the station.

<br /> foot area within MDTA's Coral way Paratronsit/Special Transportation Services (STS) Facility to
<br /> • accommodate administrative offices and support staff rooms. The renewed areas included private
<br /> • offices, clerical staff open-office areas, call dispatching and telephone operator office areas.
<br /> • conference rooms,employee lounge facilities and restrooms.
<br /> • Brickell Outer Loop Extension of the Metromover Automated People Mover System,Miami, Florida'

<br /> • offices, maintenance workspace, and storage rooms. The project included the design of a surface
<br /> parking lot and ramp areas to serve the building and queue waiting aircraft and other vehicles.
