BBA has completed <br /> • the Schematic Design of the project and procured initial approvals from permitting and land-use <br /> entitlement authorities, including: Planning and Zoning, Urban Design and land Development <br /> • Design Review Committee, and aviation authorities such as the FAA and County (MDAD) aviation <br /> • department necessitated by the structure's height. The design will be registered with the U.S.Green <br /> • Building Council upon completion of Design Development and is intended to achieve LEED Silver <br /> • certification upon completion of construction. <br /> • Lakeview Center,West Palm Beach, Florida-Job Captain for a state-of-the-art,mixed-use specialty <br /> • urban center anchored by a 250 key,4-star Hotel Indigo and adjacent 317.633 SF office tower. The <br /> • project was designed as a signature piece with sleek modern lines and glass facades intended <br /> to reflect the historic buildings that surround it. The project has 58.253 SF of ground floor retail <br /> • and restaurant space as well as 350 private residence units. The ground floor retail is designed to <br /> • complement the existing City Place development and provide a link to other retail corridors in the <br /> • area.The design will be registered with the U.S.Green Building Council upon completion. <br /> • Hampton Inn Hotel, Dadeland, Miami, Florida' - Project Manager for this 5-story, 132 guestroom <br /> • hotel situated in the budding Downtown Dadeland retail and business district. The hotel is uniquely <br /> • situated on a prime but challenging 1.76 acre site acquired from the Florida East Coast Railway and <br /> adjacent to abandoned railway tracks. In addition to the 132 guestrooms,the hotel provides 90 on- <br /> • site surface parking spaces, recreational and business-related amenities such as an outdoor pool, <br /> • fitness facility and a business center. Project responsibilities included site plan design, schematic <br /> • project/building design and securing of all applicable land-use entitlements including administrative <br /> • planning and zoning project reviews. Also served as the hotel franchisee's local liaison with all <br /> permitting authorities during the construction permitting stage of the project. <br /> • <br /> • SWISSCO Corporate Centre Office Building, Miami Lakes, Florida' - Provided architectural and <br /> engineering services including design,construction documents,permit procurement and construction <br /> • <br /> administration for a four story, 74,000 sq. ft. office building with covered parking for 66 cars and <br /> • additional 182 parking spaces at grade. The building is comprised of cast-in-place concrete slabs <br /> • over structural precast joists and is sheathed in a structural silicone curtain wall exterior system. A <br /> ® three story glass atrium serves as the entry and connection between all of the elevator lobbies. <br /> • Parkview Plaza Office Building, Orlando, Florida' - Provided architectural and engineering services <br /> • including design,construction documents, permit procurement and construction administration for <br /> • the initial phase of the Orlando Corporate Centre master plan. The five story, 85,000 sq. ft. office <br /> building has covered parking for 68 cars and additional parking for another 255 at grade. <br /> • <br /> • Town Center Executive Plaza 18 II Office Buildings, Miami Lakes, Florida' - Responsible for master <br /> • planning and architectural services including design.construction documents, permit procurement <br /> and construction administration of a two-phased, two office building campus.Phase I is consists of <br /> • a two story,22,000 sq.ft.office building,while Phase II completed the site master plan and provided <br /> • annexed a separate two story,45,000 sq.ft.office building. <br /> • TRANSIT EXPERIENCE <br /> • William E. Lehman Training Center,Miami, Florida'- Job Captain.Renovation of 13,500 square foot <br /> O area within the William E.Lehman metrorail maintenance facility. Renovated areas house MDTA's <br /> vocational training classrooms,laboratories,and associated support spaces such as breakroom and <br /> restroom facilities.
