0 ® QUALIFICATIONS, RELEVANT EXPERIENCE AND PAST PERFORMANCE ® Savino & Miller Design Studio is a multidisciplinary, minority-owned design firm that specializes in landscape ® architecture, urban design and architecture. Savino & Miller Design Studio has extensive experience in outdoor ® design and planning in the following areas: Site Master Planning Analysis and Design; Urban Design Plans ® and Concept Diagrams; Open Space Planning and Design; Community and Natural Resources Planning; Design Guidelines; Streetscape Planning, Analysis and Design; Feasibility Studies; Peer Review Analysis; ® Renderings/Modeling; Preparation of Construction Documents and Specifications; Park Design; Median ® Design; Native Planting; Cost Estimating for public facilities as well as many private commercial and residential projects. ® Our background and experience in landscape architecture, urban design, architecture and planning give us a unique insight into the various elements and forces which shape our built environment. Our method includes an analysis of factors such as climate, physical and sociocultural context, aesthetics and long term maintenance. ® We practice to create beautiful and meaningful places, which invite people to interact and enhance their sense ® of community, and which are beneficial to the local ecology. In so doing, these places can become a source of pride to our neighborhoods and communities. ® In regards to landscape architecture, we are especially interested in reflecting the rich, biodiversity of South ® Florida native plant life, as well as our unique cultural/agricultural traditions. At the same time, we believe in ® being responsive to, and instructive of, present and future issues of ecological sustainability, in terms of water use, resource consumption and use of local materials. C Having practiced in many public and private projects, we are also keenly adept at creative design in a range of budgets. ® Savino & Miller Design Studio is located in North Miami in close proximity to the City of Sunny Isles Beach where we have worked on several successful projects such as the site planning and landscape architecture master plan for the Sunny Isles Beach City Hall and more recently we conceptualized a plan for an entry park ® to a J. Milton parking garage project. ® Our experience varies in scale and scope, and private and public sector. Specifically and in regards to this request for qualifications, our experience and qualifications are represented as follows to the scope of services ® described in the RFQ: O o • Drawings & Specifications for Landscape Architectural Projects: Savino & Miller Design Studio has been preparing drawings (from schematic through construction ® documents) and specifications for a wide range of landscape architectural projects since 1993. 0 Documents are prepared in the latest version of AutoCad and complimentary documents are submitted ® in Excel, Sketch-up, Photoshop, In-Design, PDF, etc. as required. Documents can be placed in an ftp site, e-transmitted, saved in flash drives or cd's as requested by our clients. Our office has the capacity 0 to reproduce drawings in house in black and white and color up to a size of 11"x 17".
