We will prepare the bid documents that <br /> • <br /> • will be distributed, coordinate the bid process, respond to any requests for information during the <br /> bidding, analyze the bids received and provide the City of Sunny Isles Beach with the recommendation <br /> on the award of the construction contract. <br /> • <br /> • CONSTRUCT. Finally, we arrive at the construction phase of the project and our participation and <br /> • continued communication will be critical to the success of the building process. During the <br /> • construction, the design team will remain an active participant by attending the regular construction <br /> progress meetings and by performing the tasks identified below: <br /> • <br /> • <br /> • • Advise the City of Sunny Isles Beach on all aspects of the construction project. <br /> • • Review Shop Drawings and Submittals provided by the contractor. <br /> • <br /> • • Make periodic site visits to the project to observe the progress at <br /> • appropriate intervals in the progress of the work. <br /> • • Assure that a high level of workmanship is maintained and achieved. <br /> • <br /> 111 <br /> • Issue instructions to the contractor, should any interpretations and <br /> clarifications be required. <br /> • <br /> • • Review, evaluate and approve progress payments due based upon <br /> • the progress of the work completed. <br /> • • Observe the initial operation of the building systems and confirm <br /> • compliance with the specifications. <br /> • Perform a final punch list. <br /> • <br /> • • Report and establish final project completion, including recommending <br /> • final payment at the appropriate time and retainage reduction, if appropriate. <br /> • • Submit AutoCAD format record documents to the City of Sunny Isles Beach. <br /> • <br /> • <br /> • CELEBRATE. Lastly, we will celebrate with the City of Sunny Isles Beach at the opening or reopening of <br /> the project building site.
