0 <br /> ® Task 1 .2- Data Collection and Analysis <br /> ® Team members will review available material provided by the client. The team will need any available base infor- <br /> mation from the client including base map survey data, utility maps, technical and environmental reports of the site. <br /> $ The team will gather from the client all relevant existing plans and studies and synthesize the information. <br /> ® a) In this task, team members will conduct due diligence meetings with various regulatory agencies to <br /> ® discuss issues and determine requirements that might impact the design process. <br /> b) Internal Steering Committee/Community Workshop: The C+R team will present the findings of the <br /> ® data gathering and analysis. The team will discuss how the findings might impact the task. <br /> Phase 2 —Preferred Alternative Development <br /> ® Task 2.1- Preferred Alternative Development <br /> ® a) Preliminary Program: Using the information gained through Phase 1 interviews and meetings, the con- <br /> ® sultant team will develop a list of potential program elements/goals to be included in project. <br /> dt <br /> ® (b) Alternative design concepts (up to three) will be developed to accommodate the program/goals estab- <br /> lished in the previous task. Advantages and disadvantages of each concept will be identified. <br /> ® c) Internal City/Committee Workshop: The program alternative design concepts and associated advan- <br /> tages and disadvantages will be presented and discussed. The consultant team will incorporate the <br /> ® comments of this workshop in preparation for presentation of the alternatives to the community, (If <br /> ® needed). <br /> d) Community Workshop l: The findings to date and alternatives will be presented and discussed (If <br /> needed) <br /> e) Based on the review and evaluation of the alternative plans, a preferred Alternative Plan/Conceptual <br /> ® Plan and order of magnitude cost estimate will be developed and presented to the City for review and <br /> evaluation. <br /> O Phase 3: Project Implementation <br /> 0 Upon directive from the City of Sunny Isles, the consultant team can provide comprehensive design and construction <br /> ® services for individual projects as discussed in the scope of services. A typical design and construction process has <br /> been outlined below. <br /> ® 1 . Design Development/Construction Documents: <br /> ® a. Prepare design and construction documents utilizing the Design Concept prepared in earlier <br /> stages (or previous studies). <br /> O b. Prepare submittals for City review at interim points of the completion of Construction Documents. <br /> Incorporate the City staff's comments from review process. <br /> c. Prepare initial permitting applications. Review project design with permitting agencies for com- <br /> ® pliance and issuance of relevant permits. <br /> ® d.
