Our staff has the expertise to conduct the necessary studies to prepare stormwater <br /> ® management plans. We have also completed plans based on previously prepared studies. <br /> In Miami-Dade County, Kimley-Horn has provided citywide stormwater master plans, created their stormwater <br /> • capital improvement plans (CIP), and developed stormwater utilities for the Town of Miami Lakes, the Village <br /> ® of Palmetto Bay, and the Town of Cutler Bay. We have also assisted those municipalities in developing <br /> ® stormwater utilities, joining the National Flood Insurance Program, and implementing their Community <br /> Rating System (CRS) Programs. Miami Lakes currently has a CRS rating of 5 and Cutler Bay has a CRS <br /> O rating of 6. Kimley-Horn has also provided planning, design, permitting, and construction phase services to <br /> ® successfully implement numerous roadway and drainage improvement projects for these municipalities as <br /> ® part of implementing their CIPs. The projects have been completed on time and within budget with a focus on <br /> minimizing construction impacts and construction schedule coordination with the various communities. <br /> • <br /> ® In Florida, we have served the South Florida Water Management District and many of the local drainage <br /> subdistricts in Palm Beach, Broward, and Miami-Dade counties. Our services have encompassed drainage <br /> 0 consultation and permit application preparation, including applications to regional water management districts <br /> ® and various state agencies. Representative projects include the design of canals, culvert crossings, water <br /> ® control structures, roads, levees, bridges, and pump structures. These project areas range in size from 400 to <br /> over 130,000 acres. Our stormwater management expertise includes hydrological and hydraulic analyses as <br /> ® well as surveying, planning, permitting, and designing water control structures ranging from pipes and culverts <br /> to major control structures on canals and waterways.
