Community College e Town Engineering Services, Miami Lakes, FL— Kimley-Horn is currently serving Registered E.I. in Florida ® the Town of Miami Lakes as their Town Engineer. Miami Lakes has contracted with our firm to provide all aspects of engineering associated with the Town, Professional Organizations e including providing staff to fill the positions of Public Works Director and American Society of Civil o Stormwater Utility Director. Specific projects have included: Engineers (ASCE) ® Lake Elizabeth Drainage Improvements. Roadway restoration/resurfacing Florida Engineering Society ® and drainage improvements in a residential community including new Institute of Transportation drainage outfalls and permitting. Our team located proposed drainage Engineers (ITE) e infrastructure to minimize impacts to existing utilities and adjacent ® properties. The project also included close coordination with residential ® property owners and careful maintenance of traffic to minimize impacts to the community. ® Water and Sewer Asset Inventory, North Bay Village, FL— Served as project analyst involved with developing an asset inventory for water, sewer, and e stormwater utilities throughout the City. Kimley-Horn worked with Avirom e and Associates, Inc. to collect field data and survey data to develop a GIS ® database and associated mapping for use by the City. The inventory is an effective planning tool to evaluate the current utility infrastructure, develop e rehabilitation and improvement projects, budget and schedule utility projects, ® and coordinate with private utility companies such as Florida Power & Light for their improvements. e e General On-Call Traffic Engineering Services, Fort Lauderdale, FL— Project analyst for general traffic engineering and transportation planning services as e part of an on-call contract with the City. KHA serves as an extension of the City o of Fort Lauderdale staff reviewing traffic impact studies and parking analyses. ® Projects to date have included peer review of traffic impact and parking studies, site plan review, and representation at public hearings.
