Traffic and transportation planning ® services have included the review of vehicular, pedestrian, golf cart and bicycle circulation, and a review of parking requirements for the campus. ® Bid Pack 4 Water Main and Force Main Replacement, Oakland Park, FL Kimley-Horn provided professional services for the preparation of construction documents and associated permits for the replacement of more than 27,000 ® linear feet of water main and force main in the City of Oakland Park, Florida. The project consists of replacing existing water mains that have been identified as being substandard with respect to system pressures during fire flow. ® Services and meter boxes will be replaced to the property line on new water line installations and fire hydrants will be installed in residential and commercial areas. As part of this project, select portions of force main will be upsized within ® the City and will include the aerial crossing of the C-13 Canal closest to NW ® 31st Avenue. A critical function of this project is developing a route through the neighboring City of Lauderdale Lakes to provide the most efficient path for ® looping of the water main. In addition the work must be planned to minimize ® disruptions to the City during construction. ® School Board of Broward County Open-End Services for Landscape Architecture ® Services, Broward County, FL— Kimley-Horn has been serving the School ® Board of Broward County (SBBC) under an open ended services contract for landscape architecture services. Under the contract, our team has provided ® services at numerous K to 12 campuses across Broward County. Services included performing Phase I environmental site assessments for schools within the district that included Hawkes Bluff, Plantation, Plantation Park, Meadow 0 Brook, and Tropical Elementary Schools; Seminole Middle School; and Coconut ® Creek High School. Our office provided an inventory assessment of existing trees and irrigation needs for these schools. The information was then used by KHA to prepare conceptual landscaping plans, details and specifications for landscaping ® improvements. In addition, KHA performed various drainage analysis' and site ® circulation studies/plans for Gulfstream Middle and Dillard High Schools.
