<br /> ® County for a Landscape Grant. The application was approved and awarded to the Village. Florida Recreation & Parks
<br /> • Downtown Landscape and Streetscape Guidelines, Dania Beach, FL—Project Manager. The Association
<br /> ® project included the creation of new landscape and streetscape development guidelines within
<br /> ® the City's downtown CRA area. The documents were officially adopted by the CRA Commission
<br /> and serve as the development regulations for the CRA area.

<br /> NE 38th Street Streetscape, Oakland Park, FL—The master planning and design included taking
<br /> ® the existing 2-lane roadway and implementing traffic calming solutions to discourage the heavy
<br /> ® amount of cut-through traffic within the surrounding residential neighborhood. This process
<br /> ® included meetings with homeowners as well as other permitting agencies. The design included
<br /> the use of a traffic circle as well as raised intersections at several cross-streets. Also, the travel
<br /> ® lanes were narrowed which, along with the use of new landscape, visually narrowed the corridor
<br /> ® to create a calmed residential street.
