<br /> ® Development Manual for Broward County. The manual is intended to act as a guide for all municipal governments and planning
<br /> ® agencies in Broward County to use for the future planning and design of additional greenway and trail connections within the overall
<br /> adopted Greenways Master Plan. The wayfinding design includes a thematic exploration of the Broward Greenways concept and is
<br /> ® adapted for each major greenways corridor.
<br /> $ Air Park Bike Path Master Improvement Plan, Pompano Beach, FL—Project Manager for the creation of a new master plan
<br /> ® and improvements program for the existing bike path and adjacent roadway streetscape. This unique bike path and trail circles
<br /> ® the Pompano Air Park, a 36-hole municipal golf course and the Goodyear Blimp Base for the Blimp "Star and Strips." Typical
<br /> improvements outlined in the Master Plan included widening of the existing path to create a true multi-purpose path, landscape
<br /> i® improvements, trailhead improvements and the addition of other user amenities. Opportunities for public art are highlighted in the
<br /> ® master plan, as well as a thematic wayfinding system based on the site's aviation theme.
<br /> Dade Boulevard Greenway Master Plan and Design, Miami Beach, FL—Project Manager for the planning project consisting of new
<br /> landscape plantings, site amenities, sign design and pedestrian facilities along the Dade Boulevard corridor. The project included
<br /> 0 extensive public workshops; meetings with Dade County, FDOT and City agencies; and resulted in the creation of design and
<br /> ® construction documents once the master plan was approved.

<br /> ® Neighborhood Participation Program, Sunrise, FL—Project Manager for the design and construction documents for various projects
<br /> ® throughout the City of Sunrise. Services included public workshop facilitation, landscape and hardscape design. Projects included
<br /> new and renovated signs and entry features for existing neighborhoods, new streetscape plantings and median hardscape and
<br /> ® landscape renovation.
<br /> ® City Gateways Design,West Palm Beach, FL—Principal in Charge. This design process relied heavily on public participation in a
<br /> ® series of meetings and workshops with stakeholders and elected officials. A hierarchy of City Entry types was created that included
<br /> sign design, landscape design and site design criteria.
<br /> Downtown Sign Design and Gateway Guidelines, Dania Beach, FL—Project Manager. This document served to officially amend the
<br /> ® City's land development code within the CRA area for private and public sign design and placement. City wayfinding and gateway
<br /> $ monument were also designed as a part of the package. The documents were officially adopted by the CRA Commission and serve as
<br /> ® the development regulations for the CRA area.
<br /> ® City Gateways, Lauderdale Lakes, FL—Project Manager. A master plan and conceptual designs were developed for a series of
<br /> gateway features to be constructed on Oakland Park Boulevard and SR 7 in Lauderdale Lakes. The gateway designs—a combination
<br /> ® of hardscape, sign elements, trellis and tower features and landscape -were developed into construction documents and are awaiting
<br /> 0 funding for construction.
