CO RPO RATECOACHES <br /> Florida's Leading Transportation Provider <br /> 4) ABC Companies employs A.S.E. certified mechanics for heavy-duty truck and bus servicing. Inspection personnel <br /> and contracted inspectors are required to meet qualifications in Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations Part <br /> 396.19 for conducting inspections. <br /> Since major maintenance or repair is done at ABC Companies, all of the technicians are qualified by the Bus <br /> manufacturer- Van Hool, and employees of ABC Companies, the authorized dealer for Van Hool in the United States. <br /> Essentially giving us access to Bus Dealer Certified mechanics. <br /> Our inspection technicians have a minimum of 10 or more years of experience diagnosing and repairing diesel motor <br /> coach engines and are qualified to provide preventative and routine maintenance, diagnose and repair brakes, <br /> electronics, suspensions, transmissions, HVAC, etc. <br /> Inspection criteria- <br /> Pre-Trip / Post-Trip Inspections <br /> In compliance with FDOT, Corporate Coaches requires each driver to complete a pre-trip inspection prior to the <br /> beginning of any shift and submit a written report indicating the condition of the vehicle and listing all defects and <br /> deficiencies likely to affect safe operation or cause mechanical malfunctions. In accordance with 14-90, FAC, the <br /> inspection must include and test the following parts and devices to ascertain that they are in safe condition and good <br /> working order: <br /> a) Service brakes <br /> b) Parking brake <br /> c) Tires and wheels <br /> d) Steering <br /> e) Horn <br /> f) Lighting devices <br /> g) Windshield wipers <br /> h) Rear inside vision mirror <br /> i) Customer doors <br /> j) Exhaust system <br /> k) Equipment for transporting wheelchairs <br /> I) Safety, security, and emergency equipment <br /> m) Communications equipment, including two-way radios <br /> Prior to any motor coach being operated Corporate Coaches will cause to repair any items listed on the vehicle <br /> inspection report that would be likely to affect the safety of operation of the vehicle. If no defect or deficiency is <br /> discovered by or reported to the driver, the report shall so indicate. In all instances, the driver shall sign the vehicle <br /> inspection report.
