City of Sunny Isles Beach <br /> Water Supply Plan Update <br /> First Reading January 21,2016 <br /> Adoption Hearing April21,2016 <br /> Policy 25B: Participate in the Southeast Florida Regional Climate Change Compact to <br /> support regional planning efforts and initiatives to adapt to rising sea level <br /> in the LEC Planning Area. <br /> Policy 350: Work collaboratively with the NMB Utility, M-D Water and Sewer <br /> Department, other utilities and South Florida Water Management District to <br /> identify the utility wellfields and other users at potential risk of saltwater <br /> intrusion within the LEC Planning Area. <br /> Monitoring Measure: The City may enact legislation supporting the efforts of the <br /> MDWASD and SFWMD to evaluate climate change and its impacts. <br /> Capital Improvement Element <br /> Policy 1H. The City of Sunny Isles Beach 2008 2012 20156 - 20201 Capital <br /> Improvements Plan, and the Capital Improvements Schedule included <br /> therein, contains a schedule of needed projects that the City shall <br /> implement in order to maintain its adopted Level of Service standards or <br /> otherwise achieve the goals, objectives and policies and/or ensure the <br /> financial feasibility of the Comprehensive Plan. The 2008 2012 20156 - <br /> 20201 Capital Improvements Plan is hereby adopted as part of the Capital <br /> Improvements Element. <br /> 22 <br />
