The system should have the capability to retain data for inactive or terminated employees/volunteers; it should not limit access to employee time sheet historical data, but should prevent data changes to closed/paid periods which have been exported to the ERP and finalized. This page allows the user to complete the termination process and setup effective dates for the termination. Terminated employees do not have access to the system. They can be grouped by column. Leveraging reporting tools, users can reorder columns,add or drop columns,or even remove all columns and start from scratch. Reports can be exported to a variety of different file formats: CSV, Excel, PDF, HTML,XML.and Text. The system must provide a reporting functionality that will contain a useful number of standard reports, and the ability to generate those reports through multiple criteria filters; it is desired that the system contain a query tool for custom queries and reports. Reports can be filtered by employees or by column. Users can run reports for any time period and may select from a wide range of predefined selections,such as "Today," "Last Week" or "Year-to-date." In fact,there are approximately 40 predefined selections. Users can enter any range of dates,or any date expression such as "90 days before today." Reports can easily be customized. Users may change a column label to reflect their organization's terminology. Column widths can be adiusted. Headers and footers can be hidden. Page breaks can be added or removed.
