CURTIS + ROGERS <br />DESIGN STUDIO, INC <br />Background Information <br />Curtis + Rogers Design Studio <br />02 <br />Curtis + Rogers Design Studio, is a minority owned company licensed in the State of Florida <br />to provide landscape architectural services. The firm is organized as a “S” Corporation The <br />firm formed in 1991, by Aida M. Curtis and Richard H. Rogers, is well known throughout South <br />Florida for providing, award - winning landscape architectural services. In 2006, Jean C. Lee, <br />also a registered landscape architect, became a firm principal. The firm is a Hispanic-Female <br />owned company, certified by numerous municipalities throughout the state. Mr. Richard Rogers <br />has retired as of January 2014, but continues to consult with the firm and mentor on an as <br />needed basis. <br /> <br />Curtis + Rogers is celebrating its 25th year in existence. Our principals’ 54 years of combined <br />experience with complex projects and the long-term relationships with our clients is testimony <br />to our ability to create environments that engage the senses and lift the spirits while meeting <br />the operational demands and functional realities of public projects. Our commitment to client <br />service and excellence in design has led to numerous accolades including being honored as <br />“Landscape Architects of the Year” in 2001 and 2009 by the Miami Chapter of the AIA. We <br />have a staff of 8 professionals, including 4 registered landscape architects - 2 of them certified <br />arborist and 2 LEED AP professionals and 1 administrative support person. <br />Curtis + Rogers Design Studio has an internal mentoring program for all staff members. They <br />are paired with seasoned professionals and mentored in all aspects of landscape architecture. <br />In addition, educational support and encouragement is provided for professional growth. Most <br />recently 2 professionals have become Certified Arborist and 3 of them have become Certified <br />Landscape Inspectors. We are proud to have one of the lowest turnovers in the industry.
