The Center is perched <br />at the end of a spit of land overlooking Dumbfoundling Bay. This <br />LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) certified <br />project required Shoreline Review and special planting considerations <br />because of its location next to the Bay as well as LEED principles. <br />Salt and drought tolerant plantings were used along with a reduction in <br />water use to create a signature landscape for this cultural facility. This <br />project was a finalist in the 2011 ULI (Urban Land Institute) Southeast <br />Florida Vision Awards. Cost: $ 7,750,000 Size: 13,000 sq ft. <br /> <br />
