Serving as the gateway to Pompano Beach, this easternmost block of the <br />Boulevard was designed to provide a more pedestrian friendly environment and encourage outdoor cafes and <br />sidewalk retail activities. On-street parking along both the north and south sides of the block were incorporated into <br />the plan to assist in calming the vehicular traffic while providing easy access to the Beach. Public involvement <br />was a major component of the project scope.
