The variety of sizes and types of equipment and our crews’ broad experience permit ﬂ exibility in sampling and drilling techniques and in scheduling. Quality is an integral part of PSI’s approach to geotechnical work. Our principal consultants, professional engineers with years of demonstrated experience, are the crux of our quality assurance program. These principal consultants review all reports and documentation on each project to make certain that PSI’s methodologies and contractual agreements are strictly followed and that conclusions and recommendations are valid, eff ective and practical. Firm Geotechnical Experience For over 30 years, they have been providing geotechnical solutions for a variety of city and county governments throughout Florida under challenging premises. PSI personnel have performed thousands of subsurface explorations in south Florida and our experience ranges from projects requiring a few soil borings to large projects requiring several hundred borings. They provide qualiﬁ ed recommendations and use the most updated ﬁ eld equipment to gather our information. They have provided similar services for many local municipalities and have held continuous professional services contracts with: Miami-Dade County, Broward County, City of Miami, City of Miami Beach, South Florida Water Management District, Florida Department of Transportation, School Board of Broward County, and Miami-Dade County Public Schools among others. As a result, they have an excellent understanding of the local subsurface conditions as well as local speciﬁ cations required for this contract. Their staff includes registered professional engineers with signiﬁ cant construction inspection and testing experience in South Florida. Their technicians are ACI, AWS and NICET trained/certiﬁ ed in their respective disciplines and our laboratories are annually inspected/certiﬁ ed by CMEC and the FDOT. Founded in 2011, the ﬁ rm provides these services across several market sectors that include governmental, commercial, institutional, mixed-use, residential, healthcare, specialty structures, and sports facilities. They also have experience with several delivery methods of construction such design-build, GMP, CM at risk, and traditional design-bid-build.
