Additionally, we have been recognized by the Greater Miami <br />Chamber of Commerce in Florida as “One of the 100th Largest Hispanic Business Enterprises in Miami-Dade <br />County”. <br />CPZ Architects, Inc. was founded in 2002 and has over thirteen (13) years of doing business in in the tri-county <br />area providing architectural service for various municipalities. As a diverse architectural practice, <br />our offi ce completes many new and renovation projects each year. Their team designs <br />renovations and new facilities for parks, fi re stations, police stations, childcare centers, <br />businesses, banks, community centers, and more. They provide complete services for these new/ <br />renovation projects from schematic design through bidding and construction administration. <br />CPZ Architects, Inc. has a large amount of both governmental and commercial experience in <br />all building types. They are a local CBE fi rm with a staff of 9 employees, 2 of which are registered Architects. <br />They also have on our staff a licensed Interior Designer, 2 LEED AP professionals, one of which is also LEED <br />BD&C certifi ed. Assisting with our various projects are 2 Project Managers/Architectural Designers and 4 Intern <br />Architects who are all skilled in both CADD and Revit. Our Offi ce Manager does all the administrative duties. <br />Their Firm President has practiced Architecture in Broward County for over 35 years. As the Senior Architect for <br />the City of Fort Lauderdale (1986 to 1996, 10 years), he was the author of the fi rst Design/Build Criteria Package <br />for the City. He has been continuing to assist other governmental agencies in their architectural needs ever <br />since. As such, he is very familiar with the unique governmental requirements regarding the Florida Statutes and <br />what is required in a criteria package for a successful project. <br />Their offi ce uses both AutoCAD 2016 and Revit 2016. They can provide drawings in AutoCAD format saved down <br />to the release currently licensed by the city. Documents are provided to our clients in print, and digital format be <br />it on line or via compact discs. Their offi ce uses the Microsoft offi ce suite of products and produces all of their <br />specifi cation documents in the current version of word. <br />CPZ Architects was retained by the City of Miami Gardens to take over the completion of their $14 million, <br />60,000 SF Community Center after the original Architect was removed by the city as result of problems. The <br />project was under construction when their fi rm took over and there were several items that had to be resolved <br />and redesigned at the same time as not to delay construction. As such there were a number of change orders to <br />meet code requirements and address construction concerns. <br />CPZ Architects’ staff includes Jayson Hall, who managed the Miami Gardens Community Center from start to <br />completion. He is also currently the Project Manager for the City of Miramar Amphitheater in the Regional Park <br />and the Senior Center for the City of Sunrise. The knowledge he has gained, will be of great benefi t to your <br />projects. As a testament to his ability, after completing the Public Safety Complex in Coral Springs, the City has <br />requested that he be assigned to all future City projects. <br />The fi rm’s motto is “Design Quality Architecture that Builds Lasting Relationships”. As such, over the past 13 <br />years they have been awarded over 15 continuing services contracts with local Municipalities. All of them are still <br />active and have always been renewed. Two of their contracts have been ongoing for over 10 years.
