LAND DESIGN SERVICES DIVISION <br />LANDSCAPE ARCHITECTURE // PLANNING // ENVIRONMENTAL // TRANSPORTATION // ENGINEERING // SURVEY <br />SUBSURFACE UTILITY ENGINEERING // STRUCTURES // WATER RESOURCES // CREATIVE SERVICES <br />Encompassing approximately 2,600 Acres of land <br />and 24 property owners WGI’s Land Design Services <br />Division worked together with Keith & Associates, Inc. <br />consulting engineers to develop a Master Plan for the <br />City of Parkland and the North Springs Improvement <br />District. <br />The purpose of the Master Plan was to create a vision for <br />the future development of the City of Parkland and the <br />multiple annexation parcels lying in the area commonly <br />referred to as “The Wedge”. The Master Plan design <br />promotes compatibility with the existing community, <br />assures adequate infrastructure for all future growth and <br />protects the health, safety, welfare of the residents of <br />the City of Parkland. <br />The team developed goals & objectives for the Master <br />Plan, conducted inventory and analysis studies of the <br />existing conditions, conducted stakeholder interviews <br />and public workshops to gather community input all <br />prior to the development of the Master Plan.
