BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF PROJECT AND RELEVANCE TO THIS CONTRACT (Include scope, size, and cost) <br />CGA has provided complete engineering, <br />landscape architecture, street lighting, <br />construction documents and permitting for <br />the streetscape improvements for SE 2nd <br />Street and SE 2nd Avenue for the City of <br />Delray Beach. The design included roadway <br />narrowing to accommodate on-street parking <br />facilities and creating landscaped bulb-outs <br />with street lighting on SE 2nd Street and the <br />widening of SE 2nd Avenue to accomplish that <br />same goal. Drainage improvements were <br />designed for the project to improve the <br />corridor flooding problems. This project was <br />designed with extensive use of our 3D design <br />systems including our Leica Scan Station 3D <br />Laser Scanner. The survey was done in 3D in <br />a fraction of the normal time for fieldwork <br />and very precise data passed to design <br />allowing accurate grading without repeat <br />requests for additional information. <br />The streetscape design was carefully coordinated with the survey, electrical and civil engineers to ensure <br />that all proposed infrastructure is strategically located so that a safer, well lit street with attractive <br />landscaping will be created. <br />25.
