After evaluation of proposals, all bids were rejected and a request for proposals to replace all existing 400W metal halide luminaires with new LED luminaires was developed, the project was advertised, bids received and a contract was awarded to replace existing luminaires with 1200 environmentally- sustainable, energy-efficient and aesthetically-pleasing Roadstar luminaires throughout the city. Subsequently, an additional 33 poles with Roadstar luminaires were installed on a previously unlighted roadway. <br />Project Engineer/Director; N.E. 172nd Street and North Bay Road Street Lighting.
