Amend Policy 1A. as follows: <br /> Policy 1A. -e • e •• • • - - - . ••• .- - - - • - • -- - .e• <br /> designated as a Transportation Concurrency Exception Area as specified in Section OJ <br /> 5.0055(6) of the Florida Administrative Code, and Section 163.3180(5), Florida Statutes. <br /> . Functional Classification map The City, in accordance with Florida Statutes does not <br /> require transportation concurrency as a condition for a development approval. The City <br /> may, however, require multi-modal transportation improvements necessary to address <br /> the impacts of a proposed development in accordance with its Land Development <br /> Regulations. <br /> 1. The area within the City, designated as a TCEA is excepted from <br /> in conformity with Section 9J 5.0055(6)(a), of the Florida <br /> Administrative Code. <br /> 2. The area within the City designated as a TCEA, is excepted from <br /> transportation concurrency requirements of Rule 9J 5.0053(3)(c) 1. 'l.,of <br /> the Florida Administrative Code. <br /> 3. The implementation of the TCEA, as designated, is compatible with and <br /> furthers this and other elements of the City's Comprehensive Plan. <br /> 1. The implementation of the TCEA, as designated, is supported by <br /> development guidelines and policies that specify programs to address the <br /> transportation needs of the area. These policies expressed within this <br /> Element include... <br /> 2. Delete Policy 1 B. as follows: <br /> Policy 1 B. The City of Sunny Isles Beach, in coordination with the Florida Department <br /> of Transportation (FDOT), shall evaluate the impact of the Transportation Concurrency <br /> System, and adopted level of service standards of roadways funded in accordance with <br /> Section 339.2819, F.S., and identify strategies to alleviate or mitigate such impacts.
