<br />The CB&I team carefully selected key members of
<br />the team based upon their individual disciplines and
<br />experience to secure the best team possible and to
<br />fulfill the requirements of the City of Sunny Isles
<br />Beach contract. We have provided detailed
<br />information about the experience and qualifications
<br />of our assigned key personnel. This information
<br />includes education, training, technical experience,
<br />licenses, and any applicable certifications. The CB&I
<br />team has the staff needed to successfully deliver the
<br />required shoreline surveying and mapping services
<br />for the City of Sunny Isles Beach.
<br />6.1 Key Personnel
<br />Jeffrey Andrew, PSM, CIH, Program Director
<br />Jeffrey Andrews has directed bathymetric and
<br />upland surveys in Florida, Georgia, North Carolina,
<br />Virginia, New Jersey, New York, Massachusetts,
<br />Alabama, Louisiana, Texas, Alaska, Puerto Rico,
<br />Brazil and the Bahamas. He has prepared all
<br />hydrographic and topographic survey reports,
<br />including technical writing and supervision of data
<br />analysis. Mr. Andrews has over 30 years of
<br />conducting bathymetric and topographic surveys,
<br />and providing navigation/positioning for numerous
<br />offshore projects.
<br />Michael Lowiec, PSM, Project Manager
<br />Michael Lowiec is a registered Florida Professional
<br />Surveyor and Mapper in technical charge of field
<br />and office operations for our Geomatics
<br />Department. He is responsible for the design and
<br />management of field phases of all surveys and
<br />reviewing all topographic and hydrographic survey
<br />data including multi‐beam and single beam sounder
<br />surveys, beach profiles, inlet and shoal surveys,
<br />borrow area surveys, port and harbor surveys, and
<br />coastal structure surveys. He prepares permit
<br />required physical monitoring survey reports, private
<br />and public sovereign submerged land leases and
<br />easements, certified survey maps and drawings. Mr.
<br />Lowiec also oversees land based survey tasks
<br />including boundary surveys, right‐of‐way
<br />verification, mean high water surveys and is
<br />involved with the platting of erosion control lines.
<br />He has extensive knowledge of conventional and
<br />GPS‐based survey methods and is trained and
<br />approved to use the National Geodetic Survey
<br />OPUS‐Projects for establishment of GPS networks
<br />and control monuments.
<br />William Robertson, PhD, GISP, QA/QC
<br />Manager
<br />Dr. Robertson has more than 15 years of experience
<br />conducting scientific research and managing coastal
<br />projects. Since joining CB&I in 2007, Dr. Robertson
<br />has participated and managed several engineering,
<br />geologic, biologic, and geodetic projects in the Gulf
<br />of Mexico and US East Coast. He uses the skills that
<br />he developed during his studies to create high
<br />resolution DEMs utilizing voluminous data sets,
<br />quantify and predict morphologic change, and
<br />identify sediment sources and benthic habitats for
<br />CB&I.
<br />Thomas Pierro, PE, D.CE, Coastal Estuary
<br />Advisor
<br />Thomas Pierro, PE, D.CE, will serve as a Coastal
<br />Estuary Advisor for your program. He has designed,
<br />permitted, and supervised construction of
<br />numerous beach nourishment projects in Florida.
<br />Mr. Pierro is the coastal engineering lead on all of
<br />our Florida beach projects. He directs complex
<br />analysis of beach/inlet processes to design programs
<br />that control high erosion near coastal inlets and
<br />passes.
