 City of Sunny Isles Beach, Florida  <br />Shoreline Surveying and Mapping Consulting Services  <br />  <br />  <br />  <br />CB&I Environmental & Infrastructure, Inc. RFQ No. 16‐06‐01   <br />  32 <br />10C062016D – 631216982   <br />  <br />Christopher J. Walker  <br />Survey Technician – Hydrographic Survey  <br />Professional Qualifications  <br />Christopher Walker has a masters and bachelor degree in geology  <br />with a background in geophysics and fluvial/coastal geomorphology.   <br />He has topographic surveying experience utilizing RTK GPS, and  <br />hydrographic surveying experience collecting offshore bathymetrical  <br />data with single beam, multi‐beam, and interferometric sonar  <br />systems.   <br />Mr. Walker has experience leading land, small vessel, and large vessel  <br />surveys. His experience includes topographic and hydrographic data  <br />reduction and interpretation and is skilled at using ArcGIS 10.3 and  <br />AutoCAD Civil 3D to produce desired maps, charts, and DEM’s for  <br />report submittal. He is also highly organized and is experienced with  <br />the management of large data sets.  <br />Relevant Project Experience  <br />Survey Technician, NE 16th Avenue Corridor Right of Way  <br />Verification and, Topographic Survey, Miami‐Dade Public Works and  <br />Waste Management Department, Miami‐Dade, Florida  <br />Miami‐Dade County Public Works and Waste Management  <br />Department contracted with CB&I to provide survey services for the  <br />NE 16th Avenue Corridor Right of Way Verification and Topographic  <br />Survey. The work included verification of the NE 16th Avenue Right of  <br />Way as well as location of all improvements, overhead utilities, and  <br />location, inverts, and material for storm and sanitary sewers. All work  <br />was conducted underneath the direct supervision of a Florida  <br />Registered Surveyor and Mapper. Mr. Walker was responsible for  <br />survey data acquisition using RTK and Total Station system. He also  <br />assisted with data reduction and map preparation.  <br />Survey Technician, Miami‐Dade Annual Beach Profile Survey, Miami‐ <br />Dade, Florida  <br />Under the direct supervision of a Florida Registered Surveyor and  <br />Mapper, Mr. Walker was responsible for hydrographic survey data  <br />acquisition using RTK, Motion Compensator, and Digital Echo Sounder  <br />as well as topographic data collections using RTK GPS. He also assisted  <br />with data reduction and report preparation. CB&I, is a pre‐qualified  <br />survey and engineering firm with Miami‐Dade County, has performed  <br />Beach Profile surveys on all of the County Beaches since 2004. CB&I  <br />has performed the permit required survey several times during our  <br />time under contract with the County. CB&I utilizes state of the art  <br />survey technology to perform all tasks including Real Time Kinematic  <br />Global Positioning Systems, dynamic motion compensators, and  <br />highly accurate digital sounders to ensure a top quality product for  <br />   <br /> Education  <br /> Master of Science, Geology,  <br />University of South Carolina,  <br />Columbia, South Carolina,  <br />2011  <br /> Bachelor of Science,  <br />Geology, University of South  <br />Carolina, Columbia, South  <br />Carolina, 2007  <br /> Highlights  <br /> Topographic surveying  <br />experience utilizing RTK GPS,  <br />and hydrographic surveying  <br />experience collecting  <br />offshore bathymetrical data  <br />with single beam, multi‐ <br />beam, and interferometric  <br />sonar systems  <br /> Registrations/Certifications  <br /> Class A CDL Driver's License   <br /> PADI Nitrox/Advanced  <br />SCUBA Diver
