He also assisted with data reduction and report preparation. <br />Survey Technician, Julia Tuttle Survey, Miami‐Dade Public Works and Waste Management Department, <br />Miami‐Dade, Florida <br />Miami‐Dade Public Works and Waste Management Department contracted with CB&I to provide a <br />hydrographic survey of the navigation channel along the Julia Tuttle Causeway. RTK GPS was utilized to <br />conduct survey control reconnaissance before field activities began. Single‐beam sonar data was combined <br />with RTK GPS and heave pitch and roll data to produce high accuracy soundings of the navigation channel. All <br />data was reduced and presented on a final survey map. Underneath the direct supervision of a Florida <br />Registered Surveyor and Mapper, Mr. Alcocer was responsible for taking tide measurements using RTK GPS <br />system as well as operation of the survey vessel. <br />Survey Technician, Broward County Mean High Water and Erosion Control Line, Broward County, Florida <br />Olsen & Associates (J/V) contract with CB&I to provide, in part, survey services for the 2014 Mean High Water <br />survey and preparation of an erosion control line. Surveyors from CB&I performed the survey and prepared <br />all required drawings, public notices, and other platting items as required by Chapter 161.141 of the Florida <br />Statutes. Under the direct supervision of a Florida Registered Surveyor and Mapper, Mr. Alcocer was <br />responsible for collection of survey data using the RTK GPS system. <br />Curtis Park Boat Ramp Topographical Survey, Miami‐Dade County, Miami‐Dade, Florida <br />CB&I was contracted to provide a topographic and boundary survey of the Curtis Park Boat Ramp in Miami‐ <br />Dade County. Surveyors from CB&I located all improvements and ground elevation for the park. CB&I also <br />located all storm drains and adjacent open areas to support storm drain designs. All work was conducted <br />under the direct supervision of a Florida registered surveyor and mapper. The cost of these services and <br />associated engineering work was $55,000. Mr. Alcocer assisted in survey data collection using the RTK GPS <br />system.
