The project area was 3.3 miles on the south reach in the <br />Indialantic/Melbourne Beach area and 7 miles of the north reach in the Cape Canaveral/Cocoa Beach area. <br />Using RTK GPS with the wireless connection between the controller and the antenna/radio, the crews were <br />able to walk out to the required depth without danger to personnel or equipment. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />In addition to the Jetski Survey Vessel, Land & Sea Surveying has five other hydrographic survey vessels: a <br />40-foot SeaArk aluminum research/survey vessel, a 20-foot MonArk Survey Vessel, a <br />20-foot pontoon barge for surveying and sample collection, a 20-foot Mako center console for surveying <br />and dive operations, and an 18-foot Johnboat shallow water singlebeam survey vessel. We also have <br />several GPS survey systems, including the latest from SpectraPrecision, the SP80, with GPS, GLONASS, <br />BeiDou, Galileo, QZSS and SBAS capabilities.
