13 | P a g e
RFQ #16-06-01 Shoreline Surveying & Mapping Consulting Services
RTK GPS on the beach
at Sebastian Inlet
Our quality approach continues to evolve with each successive project. We do not rely simply on checking
drawings and documents once they are complete. Quality Assurance begins before the first computer is
turned on; this means we develop a clear understanding of the goals and objectives of the project with the
client and the team members before we develop the final approach to the requested scope of work.

Features of our quality-assurance approach include:
Agreement on the scope of services, goals and objectives
Regular communication with the client with regard to status and findings
Proper data management to ensure all team members are working off the latest and greatest plans
Periodic assessments are performed by the team
Redundancy checks of all data
Regular equipment calibration checks
Project check-ups with the client at the conclusion of the project

When sub-consultants are used, we define acceptable procedures and required level of documentation.
Subconsultants are managed as an extension of our staff, and are included in coordination meetings and
QC reviews

40-foot SeaArk
performing
multibeam survey at
Sebastian Inlet
