She <br />regularly utilizes Digital Terrain Modeling (DTM) software to generate <br />contour maps and calculate cut/fill volumes for a variety of coastal and <br />dredging projects. She is also responsible for providing deliverables in <br />GIS formats, as well as providing full GIS capabilities for the firm with <br />ESRI software. <br /> <br />Before Coastal Systems, Ms. Rahman worked for the Petroleum <br />Company of Trinidad and Tobago. She was responsible for computer- <br />aided drafting and design using AutoCAD. In addition, she was <br />responsible for scanning, vectorizing, and digitizing, GPS post- <br />processing, cadastral and topographic maps, geological drawings, <br />royalty and volume computations using terrain-modeling software, and <br />managing the database for thousands of drawings as well as control <br />point records. <br /> <br />Representative project experience <br />Boca Inlet, Broward County, Florida <br />CLIENT: Town of Hillsboro Beach <br />Analyzed 20 years of data to evaluate performance of the inlet and <br />adjacent beaches with respect to sediment transport within the region. <br />Utilized spatial analysis and GIS to recreate historical sediment budget <br />to account for ebb shoal and maintenance dredging. <br /> <br />Broward County Artifical Reef Project, Florida <br />CLIENT: Broward County <br />Design/build construction of 10 acres of artificial reef offshore of Dania <br />and Hollywood Beaches utilizing 66,000 tons of limerock boulder. <br />Marine positioning, resource surveys and hydrographic surveys <br />provided. Mooring design and coastal engineering analysis performed. <br /> <br />Dinner Key Managed Mooring Field, Miami, Florida <br />CLIENT: City of Miami <br />Design and environmental permitting of a 225 slip managed mooring <br />field. Conducted hydrographic surveys, jet probes and marine resource <br />surveys. Prepared construction plans and specifications and provided <br />construction administration services including underwater inspections. <br /> <br />Harbour Isle Marina, Ft.
